Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-state HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all company locations.
• Support full-cycle recruitment for field and office positions, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and meet workforce planning needs across multiple business locations.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
• Administer and support workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, leave administration, and insurance-related matters.
• Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee support programs.
• Conduct HR audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
• Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor workforce trends, employee relations matters, and retention initiatives, providing recommendations to HR leadership.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs that support organizational growth and compliance requirements.
• Stay current on employment law updates and ensure HR practices remain compliant in all states where the company operates.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction or a related industry.
• Experience managing HR compliance across multiple states, including employment law, leave administration, payroll, and employee relations requirements.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
• Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
