Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients through a detailed review of medical history, physical assessments, and functional movement analysis to establish a tailored treatment plan.
• Develop and communicate clear treatment goals with patients and their families while incorporating their preferences and feedback into care plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, continually adapting approaches based on the patients' progress, condition changes, and best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide optimal treatment for patients who may require additional services or consultations.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly, including progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with health documentation standards.
• Maintain effective time management, ensuring that productivity targets are met while also providing compassionate patient care.
• Engage in community outreach activities to promote wellness and educate the public on the importance of physical therapy.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goal-setting activities to enhance service delivery.
• Support the mentoring of aspiring physical therapists by serving as a clinical instructor to interns or students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and patients seeking pain management relief. You will assess and treat patients with various conditions, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain a state license.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for rehabilitation and wellness.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
