Associate Director, Incentive Compensation & Field Deployment

Cytokinetics seeks an Associate Director to lead field deployment and incentive compensation initiatives across its commercial organization. The role combines sales operations analysis, IC plan design and administration, and strategic analytics to optimize field performance in a specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales force operations analysis including sizing, alignment, targeting, and call planning optimization
- Design, implement, and manage incentive compensation plans for all customer-facing teams
- Ensure accurate IC reporting, payouts, and compliance with finance and payroll standards
- Provide strategic and ad hoc analytical support to sales leadership for informed decision-making
- Monitor performance against plan and recommend adjustments to field operations and IC strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years in biopharma or healthcare consulting with results-oriented track record
- 4+ years designing and administering incentive compensation plans in biopharma
- 4+ years sales planning and analytics experience with hands-on IC execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with Excel and Power BI proficiency
- Experience supporting specialty and hospital-based sales teams highly preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Compensation: $189,000-$231,000 per year
