Assembler I

JSG is seeking an Assembler l for an onsite, temp to hire position for our established manufacturing client in the Greater Rancho Cucamonga area. Under the close supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I cleans and details parts and machines using physical strength and a variety of hand and power tools.Job Duties:Clean and detail parts and components using a variety of hand and power toolsFollow mechanical blueprint instructions to detailingAdvise the Lead or Supervisor of all problemsFollows specific directions for detailing of partsScan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systemsFollow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machinesDistinguish between parts and the detailingMust meet deadlinesMove parts and components to the various departments on travelerPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMechanical ability and knowledge preferredAbility to follow specific directionsAbility to use power tools such as grinders, sanders, buffersKnowledge of safety proceduresPossess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlinesPay Rate: $21/hr.#D800JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
