Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist, Acute Care – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), rotating weekends on a 6-week basis. Expected patient ratio 1:10.

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation and 104 staffed beds
• Float between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab facility units for diverse clinical experience
• Epic charting system with streamlined electronic documentation
• Reduced non-billable orientation with faster integration into the care team
• Treat diverse patient diagnoses including multi-trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Free parking and collaborative interdisciplinary team environment

Requirements:

• Valid Washington state Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience (required)
• Inpatient rehab facility experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Competency in functional activities, assessments, acute and chronic disorders
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
