Commercial Leasing Associate

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in Washington, DC. This role offers the chance to engage with sophisticated clients in the dynamic data center and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience and a strong understanding of development issues. Duties Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements. Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs. Collaborate on zoning, entitlements, and permit processes. Engage with power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure matters. Requirements 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience. Experience with service level agreements and data center construction preferred. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location. Skills Comprehensive understanding of development issues.
