Location: San Diego, CA
Pay: $21.00–$27.00/hour DOE
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM Start

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II/III to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in cGMP manufacturing, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or regulated production environments who are passionate about quality and precision.

In this role, you will perform hands-on manufacturing operations, operate production equipment, complete production documentation, and ensure all work is performed in compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and company quality standards.

This is a fully onsite position with opportunities for growth within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO 13485 requirements
• Complete and review manufacturing documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Operate production equipment including pipettes, balances, pH meters, heat sealers, and other manufacturing equipment
• Monitor automated production equipment and report alarms or equipment issues
• Perform visual inspection of products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met
• Clean and sanitize manufacturing areas and production equipment
• Perform arithmetic calculations, unit conversions, and measurements related to manufacturing processes
• Receive, issue, and distribute production materials
• Complete work orders and inventory transactions using NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Assist with training new employees and supporting production activities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement teams
• Assist with SOP revisions, documentation updates, and manufacturing investigations as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hazardous waste handling procedures
• Perform additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications

Manufacturing Technician II

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with at least 1 year of cGMP manufacturing experience, OR
• Associate's degree in a related field, OR
• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a cGMP environment

Manufacturing Technician III

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field with 2+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience, OR
• Associate's degree with 3+ years of related manufacturing experience, OR
• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Required Skills

• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (cGMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed SOPs and work instructions
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product inspection, packaging, and labeling
• Familiarity with formulation, filling, kitting, or similar production operations
• Understanding of basic chemical and biological safety practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic computer skills; ERP or NetSuite experience is a plus

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 2nd Shift – Start Time: 12:00 PM
• Full-time, 8-hour shifts
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs
