Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including preparing accurate activity and incident documentation. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential communities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Support residential property operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or management, and assisting with security‑related requests as needed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
