In this driving post, you will respond to site needs, support access and perimeter activities, and deliver professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public‑facing spaces, verifying credentials and/or permissions in accordance with post orders and location policies. Support law enforcement, first responders, and/or authorized representatives during emergencies, special events, evacuations, or other security‑related situations requiring a visible armed presence. Minimum Requirements: Possess one of the following: three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security related experience, or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
