Assistant Property Manager

Assistant Property ManagerImmediate need for an Assistant Property Manager. This is a 05+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh, NC (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Process accounts payable invoices and submit them for paymentCode invoices with the appropriate general ledger (GL) accounts and detailed descriptionsCreate and maintain service contractsPrepare lease abstracts for management reviewProcess recurring monthly billing forms, tenant charges, and other financial documentationGenerate tenant bill-back packagesMonitor and maintain utility invoices, ensuring they are received, coded, and processed accuratelyCoordinate the start and stop of utility services for vacant spacesCollect, track, and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for tenants and vendorsEnsure compliance with insurance requirements outlined in leases and management agreementsCollect W-9 forms from new vendors and prepare vendor setup requestsMaintain property management records and documentationAssist with property management system complianceCommunicate with tenants and vendors regarding operational and financial mattersCoordinate vendor scheduling after contract approvalsAssist with accounts receivable reviews and follow up on outstanding tenant balancesSupport additional property management and administrative tasks as assignedKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Key skills: Commercial Property ManagementMRI Property Management SoftwareAccounts Payable & Invoice ProcessingProperty Accounting and Tenant & Vendor Coordination1-2 years of commercial property management experienceUnderstanding of commercial property accounting principlesExperience with accounts payable and financial processingProficiency with MRI property management softwareStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsUnderstanding of commercial building operationsHigh School Diploma or GEDOur client is a leading Real Estate Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
