Jr. Accountant (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a is a global leader in 3D inspection technology for\nelectronics manufacturing company and is looking for a Junior Accountant. \n\n\nThe Jr. Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of\nmonthly financial reports. The opportunity will be right for someone who is\nhigh-energy, extremely organized, and has the ability to work independently as\nwell as part of a team. Although it is robust in scope, this position offers\ngreat work-life balance, steady hours and flexibility.\n\nMAJOR FUNCTION:\n * Responsible for Sales Recognition and Purchase Recognition\n * Responsible for the Accounts Receivable function, including the timely\n application of payment transactions, assisting in collections and generation\n of invoicing as necessary\n * Responsible for the Accounts Payable to assemble, review, verify invoices and\n reconcile accounts payable transactions\n * Manage Sales Commissions for Reps and Distributors\n * Preform bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve differences\n * Maintain assets management and Inventory/COGS analysis\n * Assist in managing full-cycle month-end and quarter-end close including bank\n reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger adjustments and financial\n reporting\n * Assist for Sales and Use Tax filings\n * Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)\n * Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group\n meetings,maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports\n * Perform other duties as assigned by manager\n\n\nPREREQUISITES:\n * Bachelor's degree in Accounting\n * Master's degree in Accounting preferred\n * Strong mathematical and analytical skills\n * Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software\n * Excellent oral and written communication skills\n * Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously\n * Strong understanding of federal, state and local tax regulations\n * ERP software experience highly desired\n * QuickBooks experience preferred\n * Must have excellent work ethics, including a willingness to work the hours\n necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause\n greater than normal departmental pressures.\n * Experience working with Korean based company a plus\n * Bilingual in Korean, highly desired\n\n\nBenefits\n * Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance at no employee premium (including\n dependent coverage)\n * 401K retirement plan with 5% matching\n * Generous PTO and paid holidays
