Senior Cost Accountant

A well-established and growing manufacturing organization in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This is a highly visible role supporting multiple manufacturing operations and partnering closely with finance and operations leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and manufacturing finance within a multi-site manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible role with an opportunity to influence and enhance the cost accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis

• Month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Inventory valuation, financial reporting, and cost analysis

• Partner with operations and finance to improve costing accuracy and controls

• ERP-based reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2 years of standard costing experience

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost accounting principles

• Advanced Excel skills

• Large ERP experience required; Oracle preferred
