Senior Inventory Accountant

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Curran Recruiting Overview We’re looking for a Senior Inventory Accountant to join our client's growing team and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing inventory trends, and driving process improvements. What You’ll Do Manage all aspects of inventory accounting, including reconciliation, adjustments, and variance analysis Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure accurate costing and reporting Monitor inventory transactions, cycle counts, and month-end close activities Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance internal controls Provide insights and reporting to leadership to support business decisions What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of accounting experience with a focus on inventory and cost accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and inventory valuation methods Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards is a plus) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Manufacturing Industries Manufacturing and Staffing and Recruiting We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
