Staff Accountant, Fixed Assets

Staff AccountantOur client is hiring a Staff Accountant to support Fixed Assets in Duluth, GA. This is a fully in-office role with a well-established national company that's adding to its accounting team. You'll report to the Fixed Asset Manager and play a hands-on part in the month-end close, reconciliations, and keeping the books clean and accurate. It's a great next step for a Staff Accountant with a few years under their belt who wants deeper exposure to fixed assets and the full close cycle. You'll have a team that leans on you and a role that gives you room to grow.Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly closeBalance the general ledger and support financial statement preparationReconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable regularly to keep the data accurate and completeKeep vendor records current in the accounting system and help with collections and chargebacksQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant background is a great fit)Working knowledge of accounting systems and strong Excel skills
