Competitive hourly pay of $463.13, paid weekly via direct deposit Flexible inpatient schedule with daytime hours and overnight call from home Opportunity to lead and supervise a multidisciplinary medical oncology team at a prominent Minneapolis hospital Quick Facts Location: Minneapolis, MN (800 East 28th Street, ZIP 55407) Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment initially, with possible extension Shift: Day shift (08:00 – 16:30), 5 days/week; overnight call from home (8-10 hours, 1 week at a time) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (W-2) with competitive pay and benefits Licenses/Certifications: MN Medical License or IMLC, Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology Experience: Proven experience with inpatient malignant and benign oncology, hematology consults, and supervising APPs Pay & Benefits Pay Package: $463.13/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement includes What You’ll Do Lead the inpatient medical oncology service, supervising and collaborating with APPs and hospital staff See 20-25 patients daily, including malignant and benign oncology cases and hematology consults Perform special procedures related to oncology and hematology Manage new inpatient and outpatient consults, documenting same-day or within three days Provide overnight call from home, handling medical oncology-specific calls with minimal volume Support hospital-based oncology care at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital Supervise and support the medical oncology team in providing quality patient care and clinical leadership What You Need MN medical license or IMLC authorization Board-certified in Oncology and Hematology Experience with inpatient malignant oncology and hematology consults Ability to supervise APPs and work collaboratively in a hospital setting Strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills About the Assignment This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a leading medical oncology provider within a prominent Minneapolis hospital system.
