A well-established healthcare facility in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supporting long-term care pharmacy operations. Candidates must be prepared to start by mid-July and will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients.

Location:• Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:• Dispense and review prescriptions accurately in a long-term care setting
• Provide clinical support and medication counseling to healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:• Active Texas Pharmacist License
• Recent and relevant pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
