A healthcare facility in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support their long-term care operations. Available shifts initially run from July 20th to July 24th, with additional opportunities expected to follow. This position requires a dedicated pharmacist who can deliver quality patient care and ensure accurate medication dispensing in a long-term care setting.

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule:

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Per Diem availability with flexible shift opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications in compliance with all federal and state regulations
• Provide accurate and timely pharmacy services to long-term care patients
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with facility policies
• Monitor medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions or contraindications

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in long-term care or similar settings
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
