Free meal provided during work shift./ph3General Description/h3pUnder the supervision of the Food Services Lead and Staff, the student worker will assist the cafeteria staff in serving meals during breakfast and lunch service. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized serving area, ensuring food safety, and providing customer service to students and staff./ph3Training/h3pTraining will be provided on:/pulliProper handling and serving of food products/liliBasic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation precautions/liliProper lifting techniques/liliCustomer service/li/ulh3Primary Responsibilities/h3pFood Setup and Service/pulliAssist in setting up and cleaning up breakfast and lunch service stations./liliServe meals to students and staff in a timely and courteous manner./liliEnsure portion sizes and food presentation adhere to district and health guidelines./liliRestock food, utensils, and supplies at serving stations during service hours./liliMonitor food to ensure compliance with food safety regulations./li/ulpCleanliness and Safety/pulliMaintain a clean and organized workspace, including wiping counters and cleaning serving areas./liliDispose of trash, organic waste and recycling appropriately./li/ulpCustomer Service and Teamwork/pulliGreet and assist students and staff in a friendly and professional manner./liliRespond to questions about menu items./liliCollaborate with cafeteria staff to ensure smooth meal service./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pMust be a current Campbell Union High School District high school student. Must be able to work 3 days per week. If 17 years or younger, must obtain a work permit. If 18 years or older, must be fingerprinted (Instructions on how to be fingerprinted included with new hire paperwork). Must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Dependable and punctual. Follow established procedures. Carry out oral and written instructions./ph3Working Conditions/h3pEnvironment: School cafeteria/ppPhysical Demands: Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds (50 pounds by two employees). Pulling and pushing carts on a daily basis. Standing and walking for extended period of time. Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate with students, food service coworkers, supervisor and other staff.
