This person collaborates within that team to bring finished products from concept through production.Schedule: Full time.Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000, plus 10% bonus.What You'll DoThe Senior Design Engineer plans and completes engineering projects by studying customer requirements, market demand, and competitor products, and by scheduling and following up on work results across the team. This person evaluates mechanical systems and products through research and testing, applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics, and materials, and confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility studies and testing methods. The role includes developing mechanical products by researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, incorporating feedback from operators, and developing manufacturing processes focused on cost reduction and process improvement, including designing and modifying equipment for fabrication, assembly, and installation. The Senior Design Engineer assures product quality by designing and executing testing methods and confirming fabrication and assembly processes, prepares product reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends, and answers engineering questions from internal and external contacts.
