About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning to establish and lead the organization's first evidence, evaluation, and improvement function. This strategic and entrepreneurial leader will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive framework that allows the organization to rigorously track its progress, understand its impact on systemic change, and effectively communicate this to various stakeholders. The role involves building a new team and fostering a culture that values learning and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in strategy, organizational learning, or systems change, with a strong background in designing and leading learning processes. Experience in climate, sustainability, environmental, human health, or justice work is highly valued, particularly with a focus on climate-related issues. Key responsibilities for the Associate Vice President include partnering with senior leadership, program teams, and external collaborators to integrate evidence and learning practices into the organization's strategy, fundraising, and communications. The role also involves overseeing the data and technology infrastructure that supports this work and ensuring its consistent adoption across the organization. The successful candidate will be a proven leader, capable of driving change and embedding new frameworks and tools into the organization's culture. They should be adept at both qualitative and quantitative methods, with the ability to interpret data and guide teams in using evidence for decision-making. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills are essential, as is a commitment to the values of justice, inclusion, and partnership. A graduate degree is preferred, but not required, for the right candidate.
