Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• In-office start and finish at assigned branch location
• Occasional flexibility required to support commercial sales activities, board meetings, or operational needs

What You’ll Do

As the General Manager, you will be the executive leader of your regional branch—driving top-line revenue growth, overseeing regional P&L profitability, and leading a high-performing team of Service Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians.

While operational excellence is fundamental, this is a growth-driven leadership role. You will actively drive regional sales initiatives, partner with commercial sales teams to expand market share, approve territory developments, and ensure our client retention rates set the industry standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Growth & Market Expansion: Drive top-line regional revenue. Partner with commercial sales teams to identify new territory opportunities, approve B2B proposals, and build strong relationships with key commercial clients (HOAs, property managers, commercial facilities).
• P&L & Financial Management: Own the regional branch P&L. Establish budgets, monitor gross margins, manage labor/equipment costs, and hit regional revenue and profitability targets.
• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring Service Managers, Repair teams, and field technicians meet strict quality, safety, and service delivery standards.
• Customer Retention & Experience: Serve as the senior point of escalation for high-stakes customer concerns, establishing a culture focused on long-term client trust and account retention.
• Team Leadership & Development: Hire, mentor, and manage branch department heads. Drive accountability, conduct performance reviews, and build a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Software Adoption & SOPs: Act as the primary regional expert and internal support lead for Poolie's tech stack (HubSpot, Pool Brain, Podium, Slack), ensuring complete team compliance with company SOPs.
• Facility, Fleet & Safety Oversight: Oversee branch warehouse management, fleet vehicle maintenance, inventory audits, and regional OSHA/safety protocol enforcement.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• Proven leadership experience as a General Manager, Operations Director, or Branch Manager in home services, commercial trade, or multi-unit operations
• Direct experience managing top-line sales growth, revenue targets, and P&L financial performance
• Strong capability in leading multi-tier teams (managers, supervisors, field staff) and driving accountability
• Demonstrated experience handling high-level client escalations and commercial negotiations
• High comfort with modern business technology (CRMs, routing tools, messaging platforms)
• Valid driver's license with a clean record

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in commercial pool service, property management, facilities services, or HVAC/plumbing
• Direct track record of closing commercial B2B contracts or managing local marketing initiatives
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license
• Proficiency with HubSpot, Pool Brain, Podium, and Slack
