We are looking for a Warehouse Worker at Norris Rods located in Bakersfield, CA . This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. What You Will Do Work with inventory in a warehouse environment under direct supervision. Unload shipments, unpack and organize inventory parts, deliver items to appropriate departments, and file shipping and packing slips regularly. Check stock to ensure inventory is available. Pull, pick, and pack items that need to be shipped and place on pallet for departure. Maintain yards and complete work and repairs as assigned; remove snow as needed. Contribute to the department continuous improvement culture. Keep the warehouse neat, clean and organized. Assist with physical inventories. Maintain confidentiality of all matters. Other duties as required. Position Details Hourly Rate: $20.00-$21.50 Pre-Employment Requirements Drug and alcohol test Criminal background check Education and certification check Employment verification Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience One year of warehouse or relevant experience Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions Basic math skills Basic organizational and time management skills Basic computer skills Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing Must stand for extended periods (8-10 hour work days, 5-6 days a week) while wearing steel-toed shoes/boots on concrete floors Frequent manual dexterity and coordination; ability to grasp, manipulate, or assemble parts and components of varying sizes Must frequently walk, push, and pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist or crawl Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus About Us ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
