Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro Telemetry (Medical Surgical/Tele)

Location

Lubbock, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required (6 shifts per 6-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Monitor and assess neurological and telemetry patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required facility orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Neuro Telemetry nursing
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and neurological patient populations
• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
