Production SupervisorWe're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and support daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. This role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, operational excellence, and employee development.The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning and executing production schedules, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring customer commitments are met, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Location: On-Site, San Antonio, TXShift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:45a-3:30pWhat You'll Be DoingLead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goalsAssign, prioritize, and execute daily and weekly production schedulesCoordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and other departments to meet customer commitmentsEnsure materials, supplies, equipment, and staffing are available to support production plansInterpret specifications, blueprints, routing instructions, and job orders for employeesEnsure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirementsMaintain and improve 5S, housekeeping, and workplace organization standardsTrain, coach, mentor, and develop employees to build capability and performanceManage employee performance, attendance, accountability, and developmentPartner with Human Resources on employee relations, corrective actions, and talent developmentAnalyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsDrive Lean, continuous improvement, and productivity initiativesMonitor production metrics and communicate performance results to leadershipMaintain accurate production, labor, and operational recordsSupport customer requirements, audits, and delivery commitmentsParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning activitiesWhat We're Looking ForAssociate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of manufacturing experience; leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and shop floor processesExperience leading teams in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skillsExcellent problem-solving and organizational abilitiesStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountabilityAbility to balance employee development with operational resultsNice to HaveBachelor's degreeAerospace, repair station, machining, welding, or inspection experienceLean Manufacturing, MOS, 5S, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement experienceSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationA&P License or ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate, if required by site operationsExperience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and manufacturing metricsLeadership Expectations and ValuesSets Direction: Aligns people and decisions to Chromalloy's vision and delivers results through transparency and accountability.Business Leadership: Drives enterprise value through sound judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and customer focus.Leads with Courage: Communicates openly, addresses challenges directly, and fosters accountability.Acts Decisively: Makes informed decisions, empowers others, and drives continuous improvement.Builds Talent: Develops diverse, high-performing teams through trust, respect, and inclusion.Owns Results: Sets clear expectations, establishes standards, and delivers operational excellence.This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
