Overview The Tubing Park Ticket Scanner provides a welcoming and efficient entry experience by managing the Tubing Park entrance, scanning and validating tickets, and maintaining accurate attendance information. Reporting to the Tubing Park Manager and taking day-to-day direction from the Arrivals Supervisor and Check-In Lead, this role works closely with both Arrivals and outdoor staff to maintain controlled access and organized guest flow. Success means accurate scanning, clear communication, and a consistent entry process that does not unnecessarily delay guests. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long. Responsibilities Long Term Thinking Maintain accurate guest entry counts throughout each session. Communicate guest count changes and concerns to Tubing leadership. Excellence in Execution Scan guest tickets as they enter the Tubing Park. Verify tickets are valid for the appropriate date and session. Manage the Tubing Park entrance and maintain controlled guest access. Maintain an organized and efficient flow of guests through the entry gate. Monitor and report ticket or scanning discrepancies. Follow established scanner and equipment procedures. Report scanner or equipment issues to leadership. Assist with setup and closing of the guest entry area. Attitude is Everything Greet or acknowledge guests as they approach the Tubing Park entrance. Answer basic ticket and entry questions. Direct guests to Check-In when additional assistance is needed. Develop Great People Follow direction from the Hill Supervisor and Hill Lead. Communicate entry concerns and operational needs to Arrivals leadership. Work with outdoor staff to maintain efficient guest flow. Serve First Assist guests with scanning and entry. Direct ticket issues or guest concerns to the appropriate team member. Qualifications Required Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be at least 16 years of age. Basic computer experience. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Preferred Customer service experience, both in person and on the phone. Fluency in a language other than English. Join our team and enjoy The Summit Experience! Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $21.50-$23.55/hr This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2-year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit.
