Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using standardized assessment tools to gather baseline data.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care techniques to support their journey to wellness.

• Monitor client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring clients receive holistic treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation is thorough and up-to-date.

• Engage in case consultations and contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient care.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to dismantle the stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting access to care for underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on supporting clients struggling with a variety of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also extend your services to specific populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, addressing their unique challenges and fostering resilience. Your holistic approach will play a crucial role in empowering these individuals to manage their mental health more effectively and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
