You'll build advanced assessment and critical thinking skills, strengthen your ability to respond to rapidly changing situations, and become a valuable resource across the organization.About the Critical Care Float Pool at Southdale Hospital:As an RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple units!You will float to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Emergency Department (ED).In a less frequent capacity - may float to Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical, and IMC units.The Float Pool is a great opportunity for nurses who thrive on variety, enjoy learning, and want to build a broad range of clinical skills.There may be additional opportunities to cross train more areas if needs dictate, such as Post-Partum, EmPath, Endoscopy, etc.We are looking for an engaging, standout colleague who can multitask optimally and connect with our wonderful, strong team of dedicated nurses!Schedule:The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
