This position involves a strong focus on Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing, including the development of brochures, research materials, videos, and the organization of conferences/trade shows. You will collaborate cross functionally, while overseeing all aspects of project execution, acting as the primary coordinator for estimates, scopes, timelines, team communication, budgets, and resource allocation. Your leadership will be key to ensuring the success of each project and achieving organizational goals.What You'll DoLead the team by bringing organization and structure to the delivery approach planIdentify project risks, issues, and needs, and coordinate with team members from various disciplines promptlyPartner with Client Services to proactively monitor and manage project scope, escalating risks and concerns promptly for proactive mitigationCoordinate team resources and task assignments based on deliverables and project plansAssist with contingency planning, and problem resolution, and recommend solutions to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality deliverablesPresent project parameters and ensure timely delivery of quality deliverablesDeliver detailed progress reports, financials, and forecasts on assigned projectsTrack changes in scope and actual hours against a project plan, making appropriate adjustments to deliver projects on time and budgetKeep the Department Director aware of progress and raise concerns promptlyPlan and facilitate effective meetings, project estimation, and planningCollaborate with key discipline leads for input and manage personalities and conflictEffectively communicate relevant project/practice information across all departmentsShow ownership of the agency process and enforce its use within the teamDetermine creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilitiesShare lessons learned and best practices across departmentsSeek internal efficiencies to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationshipsRecognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementationConfront issues openly and quicklyWhat You'll Bring5-7 years of project management experience within a traditional marketing or advertising agency environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologiesProject experience focused on Trade Shows/Conferences is requiredLife Sciences/Pharmaceutical and HCP marketing experience is a plusUnderstanding of project management best practicesExcellent communication skills (oral and written)At MERGE, we're committed to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive in both their careers and personal lives, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to succeed.MERGE believes in transparency and equity.
