Location Highlights Dillon, Montana offers access to outdoor recreation and a small-town setting in southwest Montana. Beaverhead River runs through town and is known for fly fishing, while Bannack State Park is about 25 miles away and preserves one of Montana's best-known ghost towns. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest surrounds much of the region and provides hiking, camping, and scenic drives, and Interstate 15 connects Dillon to Butte in about 65 miles.
