Our Insurance Firm specializes in group benefits. We are seeking a Small Group Benefits Account Manager to coordinate and manage client activities for our small fully insured and level funded group clients. We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years related experience. Bilingual is an added plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include managing a book of business, preparing presentations, working on renewals and service issues which include adding and terminating employees.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage employee benefits administration, assisting current and new clients with benefits questions, claims, and billing issues to a successful resolution. Escalate issues to the appropriate level if necessary.

· Manage and coordinate the renewal process.

· Organize client presentations.

· Case submission and implementation. Follow up to a successful conclusion.

· Work closely with Account Executives on ongoing issues.

· Perform other duties as requested regarding operation of an independent insurance agency.

· Employee Navigator experience helpful, not mandatory.

 

Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum of two years of employee benefits experience required to include group medical, dental, life and other ancillary products. Should possess a clear understanding of employee benefit plans.

· Prior experience and understanding of small to mid-size employer needs is preferred.

· Should have advanced skill levels with Word, Excel, and Outlook. This includes the ability to develop an Excel spreadsheet and utilize it in performing the job.

· Have excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal.

· 2-15 Insurance license required. Willing to pay for the class if needed.

Work Location is in Parkland, Florida and remote, as needed.
