The Role You will maintain and repair production equipment to ensure reliable, efficient operations. In this hands‑on role, you’ll troubleshoot mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, complete roll changes, and support equipment installations while upholding safety standards, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to a clean, well‑organized facility. Schedule Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 4‑day schedule. Rotational Shift Hours: Follow an 8‑week cycle of 6 weeks on Day Shift and 2 weeks on Afternoon Shift. Day Shift Hours: 6:00 am‑4:00 pm Afternoon Shift Hours: 2:00 pm‑12:00 am What You’ll Do Troubleshoot mechanical processes and controls as assigned. Assemble and install new production equipment. Make mechanical repairs. Complete preventative maintenance tasks. Perform roll changes as dictated by the production schedule. Perform facility maintenance tasks. Operate electrical and mechanical test equipment. Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions. Ensure that all paperwork is completed properly and accurately. Read and interpret blueprints/schematics related to electrical and mechanical requirements. What You’ll Bring Essential Qualifications 1‑3 years of plastic extrusion experience preferred. Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc. Solid technical/mechanical aptitude. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12‑hour period (lift limit 65 lb). Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen. Focus on safety and quality production. Basic computer knowledge. Strong communication skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications 2‑5 years of plastic extrusion experience. Basic computer knowledge. Previous manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience. Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary Wages ranging from $22.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
