Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: $20-$25/hr (depending on the level of care)

About the Role

Exhava Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This role is ideal for caregivers who enjoy helping clients with their evening routines, providing companionship, and ensuring clients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the evening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and evening hygiene routines
• Prepare and serve dinner while encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Support medication reminders as outlined in the care plan
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Complete accurate shift documentation and communicate with the care team

Qualifications

• Caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if transportation is required)
• Ability to safely assist with personal care and mobility
• Willing to complete a background check, TB clearance, and required onboarding

Preferred Experience

• Dementia or Alzheimer's care
• Parkinson's disease, post-hospital recovery, or mobility assistance
• Experience with gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and transfer assistance
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
