Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - General Nursing

Schedule: Nights 7p-7a

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current nursing license in Maine or a compact state
- BSN preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Immunizations: varicella (2 doses or titer), HepB (3 doses or titer/declination), MMR (2 doses or titer), Tdap, PPD (2 step or titer within the past 12 months)
- Flu shot required during flu season

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments.
- Develop and implement a plan of care based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Execute nursing actions aimed at achieving patient goals.
- Communicate patient care activities and updates with the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities in accordance with standards and hospital policies.
- Ensure patient safety and wellness by maintaining a safe physical environment.

Compliance / Notes:
- Travelers will report to Human Resources on day 1 for the onboarding process.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
