CNC Machine Operator

Daily Responsibilities:

-Set up/tear down machine setups

-Cut material

-Run parts

-Inspect, measure, count parts

-Communicate with coworkers and managers

-Use the ERP system to record job activity

-Maintain machines; refill oils & coolants

-Replace tooling as needed

-Communicate issues, report machine break downs

-Keep a clean work space

-Follow all safety procedures

Applicants with basic or advanced understanding of machining will be reviewed. We are looking for:

-Technical degrees in machining/manufacturing or equivalent work experience

-Work experience with Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori, and Haas machines

-CNC Programming skills

-Able to read and edit code (G and M Code)

-Adequate measuring skills (micrometer, dial caliper)

-Basic machine maintenance and setup

-Understand basic geometry and trigonometry

-Calculate metric and imperial measurements

-Able to read blueprints

-Attention to detail

-Not afraid to ask questions!
