Job Description Panga Capital is seeking a highly motivated AI Analyst with a strong technical background to join our investment team. The analyst will specialize in evaluating opportunities across the Crypto x AI crossover, with responsibilities spanning research, due diligence, and direct engagement with founders. The preferred profile is a young professional with formal training in computer science/AI and prior experience at a top U.S. fund in China, though these are not strict requirements. Most importantly, the candidate should demonstrate a strong passion for both artificial intelligence and decentralized systems. Key Responsibilities Thematic research and market mapping: Conduct deep research on the convergence of AI and blockchain (for example, decentralized compute markets, AI agents leveraging crypto, cryptographic primitives enabling AI trust). Map ecosystems, identify key players, and track technical and market adoption trends. Technical evaluation: Assess the technical soundness of AI-driven crypto projects, including infrastructure, algorithms, and scalability. Evaluate product-market fit and technology defensibility. Due diligence and investment support: Support the investment team in sourcing, screening, and evaluating deals in the AI x Crypto vertical. Contribute to writing high-quality IC memos with clear analysis of product, technical moat, founder quality, and market opportunity. Founder engagement: Liaise with project founders and technical teams, leveraging both technical and financial insights to build conviction in opportunities. Qualifications Education: Degree in computer science, AI/ML, or related technical discipline preferred. Experience: Prior work at a top-tier U.S. or global investment fund, ideally with China experience, is strongly valued but not required. AI expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning frameworks, and emerging trends in AI infrastructure and applications. Crypto knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain and crypto ecosystems; passion for the intersection of AI and decentralized technologies. Analytical skills: Strong ability to break down complex technical and business problems, with a rigorous, evidence-driven approach. Communication: Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to produce concise and impactful investment materials. Languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin required.
