CUMULUS | Syracuse is hiring a full-time Multimedia Account Executive. We're looking for a motivated professional to develop and execute digital and audio marketing strategies for our clients. This role offers the tools, resources, and support you need to succeed while helping businesses grow. You'll create innovative advertising solutions by combining cutting-edge digital products with our strong radio brands. The Multimedia Account Executive ensures growth within the digital and radio sales department and retains clients for future campaigns. The Multimedia Account Executive keeps a full pipeline, manages sales activity, and communicates regularly with management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Excel at prospecting and aggressively seek new clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and community engagement to maintain a full pipeline of opportunities
- Consultative Selling: Identify client business needs by understanding their goals, objectives, and market trends; proactively develop customized advertising solutions that deliver measurable results
- Integrated Presentations: Deliver compelling multi-platform proposalsincluding broadcast, digital, and event marketingwhile negotiating and closing deals
- Digital Expertise: Go beyond traditional radio by selling Cumulus' digital assets such as streaming audio, station websites, social advertising, and audience extension products to provide complete marketing solutions
- Creative Strategy: Design and present innovative advertising proposals that showcase original ideas and integrated campaigns
- Client Retention & Growth: Build long-term relationships, gain referrals, and provide ongoing support, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns
- Operational Excellence: Follow all station and corporate procedures for order entry, billing resolution, reporting, and forecasting
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Cumulus as a leader in the marketplace
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven sales experience with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, securing new business, and building lasting client relationships
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skillsboth written and verbal
- A competitive, driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Digital savvy with an understanding of integrated marketing solutions
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation (required)
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
Pay Range: USD $36,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr. The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
