Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Unit (Telemetry) Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts scheduled for 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). Job Description The Medical-Surgical Unit is a 19-bed private room facility focused on the care of patients with neurological and stroke-related conditions. The unit prioritizes admission for patients requiring medical-surgical level monitoring and care. Registered Nurses (RNs) will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, emphasizing neurological assessment, stroke recovery, and optimized functional outcomes. Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Provide telemetry and oximetry monitoring for patients. Manage and care for patients with neurological diagnoses. Perform specialized nursing interventions as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
