As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient’s response, and take appropriate action if any adverse reactions occur.
• Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring they fully understand by simplifying complex medical terms.

Qualifications Required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Our facility proudly serves Rutherford County, Tennessee, with a 100-bed hospital providing comprehensive medical care for both adults and children. This includes emergency services, surgical procedures, and a variety of other medical offerings. Our medical staff consists of approximately 500 physicians across more than 45 specialties, many of whom have offices located on-site.
