Overview We are looking for experienced Operations Supervisors , based in Kansas City , to plan, direct and coordinate the 3PL operations at a Data Center. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It is an exciting time to join the DP World team! Departments Currently Seeking Operations Supervisors Inventory RMA Builds Dock How you will contribute Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials. Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics. Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents. Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements. Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material. Other duties as assigned. Your Key Qualifications HS Diploma/GED required 1 year experience supervising or leading in a Data Center, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility 3 years experience in a Data Center, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Experience and/or training regarding Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred Intermediate computer operating skills in programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook Quality systems knowledge to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.) Adaptable – ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible schedules Physical Requirements Clothing PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and/or safety glasses) Communication: Effective in person and via radio or other electronic means Dexterity: Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature Lifting: Lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds Pushing or Pulling: Pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds Standing and Walking: Will need to stand for long periods or walk long distances Postures: Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching Compensation DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
