Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the severity and impact of their symptoms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful progress.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan in collaboration with clients.

• Stay current with research and clinical advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic efficacy.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards for all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from young adults to seniors, each with their unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role will be instrumental in providing the tailored support these individuals need to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid California licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with demonstrable success in treating mood disorders.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling seamless collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
