We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales & Events to join our Executive Leadership Team and lead all sales, events, and revenue-generating initiatives for a premier hospitality destination. This highly visible executive role offers the opportunity to shape business strategy, influence organizational performance, and lead a talented sales organization focused on delivering exceptional results.
Candidates must have executive-level hospitality, resort, casino, hotel, or destination property sales leadership experience to be considered.

Position Overview
As the Vice President of Sales & Events, you will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and oversee the strategic direction, performance, and growth of all sales and event functions. You will be responsible for developing and executing revenue-generating strategies that maximize profitability, increase market share, and position the property as a leader in its market.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a collaborative member of the Executive Leadership Team to drive overall business success.
- Develop and execute the property's comprehensive revenue maximization strategy.
- Create and implement regional and national sales initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and events team.
- Establish performance expectations, sales goals, forecasting models, and accountability measures.
- Oversee sales pipeline management and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
- Develop annual business plans and revenue-generation strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, stakeholders, and community leaders.
- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and business opportunities to identify new revenue streams.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience within hospitality, gaming, resort, hotel, convention, or related industries.
- Executive-level leadership experience within a hospitality, resort, casino, hotel, or destination property environment.
- Demonstrated success leading revenue-generating teams and achieving aggressive sales growth objectives.
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic sales, marketing, and revenue management initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in forecasting, budgeting, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
- Experience recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top-performing sales professionals.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with executive leadership, ownership groups, clients, and strategic partners.
- Must obtain and maintain an Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- Must obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Gaming Control Board Gaming License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Luxury hotel, resort, casino, convention center, or destination property experience.
- Experience leading multi-million-dollar revenue portfolios.
- Multi-property or regional sales leadership experience.
- Strong background in group sales, meetings, conventions, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record of exceeding annual revenue and profitability goals.
- Experience serving as a member of an Executive Leadership Team.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
