About This Role We are currently seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst for our Shared Service Organization to deliver business insight and drive improvement of all FP&A functions for PEAK6 and its subsidiary entities. This individual will report directly to PEAK6’s FP&A Manager. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to assess, analyze and present financial data to help drive business decisions and to improve cross-business reporting and budgeting processes. They will possess superior analytical, modeling and communication skills. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions Monitor and analyze monthly financial results. Identify relevant trends and key drivers of budget variances. Advise senior leadership of opportunities and risk impacting the organization. Provide value-added analytical management reporting, including ad hoc requests, to help provide the organization with a deeper understanding of cost changes and help identify additional efficiency opportunities. Develop annual budget(s) and financial forecasts which will drive appropriate and timely decision making; create and maintain detailed budgeting templates Continuously improve and automate financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver reporting and budgeting Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business and revenue opportunities, and expense reduction initiatives Assist in the development and enhancement of internal cost allocation methodologies Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for process improvement Manipulate large data sets to summarize for management reporting, determine results, or reveal trends Requirements: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance/FP&A Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills NetSuite experience is a plus Adaptive Insights experience is a plus Strong grasp of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements along with the ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner A tech forward approach to managing day to day tasks – we love to automate and make things more efficient and so should you! Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
