Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed, with shift times of 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Evening and night shift coverage required
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to UW at East Madison Hospital Emergency Department as needed
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a high acuity emergency department with approximately 200 patient visits per day across 67 rooms
• Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA only)
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with a minimum score of 80% or higher
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
