Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns. Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processes in accordance with site-specific requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required. Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation of assigned areas, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: CPR Certification is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
