As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support access control processes. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating observations through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization as directed by site procedures and document relevant observations in required reports. Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
