About the Role
Payroll Tax Manager

Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience with high-volume multi-state payroll tax processing.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, especially in NY and CA.
- Experience with ADP Smart Compliance or other third-party payroll tax providers.
- Proven ability to handle notices and resolve payroll tax discrepancies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with SAP ECP Payroll or other large-scale ERP systems.
- Past involvement with SOX testing and payroll system upgrades.
- Knowledge of wage reconciliations and employee equity reporting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-unit entities and managing state audits.
