Project Manager

Overview The Project Manager III – MPS is a subject‑matter‑expert level project management position responsible for overseeing large‑sized, advanced‑complexity projects, creating detailed project plans, collaborating with team members, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring project schedules and budgets are met. The role may require up to 10% travel. Responsibilities Serve as the subject matter expert for all customer project management matters. Review and thoroughly understand work orders and service agreements. Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships. Navigate nuances of client relations among peers within trusted account relationships. Create agenda and guide the kickoff meeting presentation to all stakeholders of the fulfillment team. Anticipate concerns impacting the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and multiple objectives. Foster new business opportunities with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. Manage multi‑year forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., monthly sales results and annual forecasts). Contribute and present program metrics for client business reviews. Maintain and enhance relationships with the BD team to identify and grow opportunities. Assist with challenging requests or issue escalations as needed internally. Manage ongoing customer site requirements. Act as a single point of contact and own the proposal process internally. Review and prepare Cost‑at‑Completion (CAC) accounting for internal review with MPS leadership. Act as a subject matter expert of the CAC process and mentor junior program managers. Proactively manage multiple activities of higher complexity to ensure forward progress and deadline efficiency. Negotiate and create all change orders on projects for internal approval. Represent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc. Maintain understanding of the customer forecast and facilitate alignment with the Production Team and Continuous Improvement Team. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years’ experience in equipment and methods within construction or industrialized construction role. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred). PMP license preferred. Expert knowledge of construction technology and scheduling. Business development/heavy client interaction a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Power BI, and Oracle preferred. Ability to adapt to evolving customer priorities and resolve higher‑complexity problems. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain personal integrity and embody MPS core values. Knowledge of MPS safety protocols and procedures. Proficient in developing, enforcing, and following standard operating policies and procedures. Ability to perform duties professionally, manage multiple tasks under time pressure, and work effectively in a team. Travel & Working Conditions Travel: 0 – 10% of the time.Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Employees may be sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on a job site. Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required.
