Overview:

All Tech Electric Texas is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support project coordination, ensuring projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Assist in analyzing construction plans and specifications.
2. Coordinate project personnel activities.
3. Familiarize with materials, equipment, and technical systems.
4. Handle administrative tasks including expense reports, RFIs, submittals, and procurement.
5. Prepare reports, studies, and statistical analysis.
6. Assist with scheduling and manpower projections.
7. Research and prepare field change requests.
8. Update and generate as-built documents.
9. Monitor subcontractors, project scheduling, and cost control.
10. Attend project coordination and OAC meetings.
11. Validate vendor billing against purchase orders.
12. Ensure job setup and city registration.
13. Follow through on credits for returned items.
14. Enter project budgets and assist with job cost accuracy.
15. Assist with permits, submittal review, compliance, and project billings.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 4-year degree in construction technology, electrical engineering, or construction science (or equivalent technical training and experience).
• 0-2 years of construction or general business experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new software systems.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam and Accubid is a plus.
• Must obtain OSHA-30 certification within six months of hire.
• Courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated.
• Stable employment history
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background andreference check
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
• Possession of reliable transportation 
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
  

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 25% travel may be required.
