Senior Solution Architect Digital BankingArchitectBoston, MABankingJO-1805-596The Senior Solution Architect works with strategic banking and financial institution Clients to achieve customer delight by designing, and seeing through to delivery, high-quality transaction banking solutions. As a key member of multiple project teams, the Senior Solution Architect must exhibit domain expertise while facilitating architectural requirements gathering sessions with customers. The Senior SA must apply deep product knowledge to create effective solution architecture designs within the capabilities of Companies's transaction banking platforms, WebSeries and Companies's Digital Banking Platform. The Senior Solution Architect also serves as a key reference point on customer architecture requirements throughout the development and testing cycle and is responsible for ensuring that the solution meets the client's technical goals. The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for contributing to the improvement of internal processes and bringing client feedback into the product roadmap. S/he will be a Leader of the SA practice. Ultimately, the Senior Solution Architect is the technology and integration "Solution Owner" across the delivery lifecycle for a client.Required SkillsBS or Masters in a technical field, or equivalent experience. Proven problem solving skills; pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets. Excellent ability to learn and recall information 8 + years experience in software development lifecycle and technology, transaction-intensive web-based applications using the J2EE framework, systems integration, with fluency in both real-time and batch synchronous/asynchronous approaches to integrating disparate complex systems Although the role is not a development/coding role, the ability to think through solutions "at the code level" is highly desirable Must have experience with SaaS implementations, integrations and upgradesTypical ResponsibilitiesRequirements AnalysisLead client architectural requirements gathering sessions. Subject matter will include integrations, data mapping, and NFRs such as system performance, audit, and data archive/purge.Create requirements for the client, or review and internalize requirements created by clients.Conduct gap analyses between the client's requirements and BT's product capabilities.Solution DesignCreate integration specifications, System Architecture Documents (SADs) and other artifacts as necessary to meet requirements.Work with clients to suggest alternative workflows to minimize required customization and maximize use of the WebSeries and Digital Banking standard product frameworks.Work with Implementation Consultant teams to ensure the overall client solution is aligned with the architecture approach.Review potential solutions with the Companies Core team to ensure best approach when required.Change ManagementBe a full participant in change management discussions, identifying the impact of requirements changes on solution design, and assisting with managing the impact of changes in solution design to downstream activities.Testing SupportParticipate in testing phases of the project including possible on-site presence during systems integration testing to analyze issues and address questions raised by the client.Serve as a subject matter expert on the solution architecture for BT and client test staff.Cross-Stream Communication And CoordinationHelp to lead the Solution Architecture practice for the Companies's Digital BankingInteract with multiple groups, including client architects, BT solution delivery teams, BT product management and delivery teams to ensure technical requirements and architectural solutions are appropriately aligned.Contribute to continual improvement of internal processes.Assist with the organization and prioritization of harvestable assets into the standard product solution set.
