Production Supervisor

PeopleShare is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support one of our top clients in the Hackettstown area. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with strict GMP and food safety standards. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the direct execution of manufacturing operations during their assigned shift. This role ensures production goals are achieved while maintaining compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and operational standards. Location: Hackettstown, NJ Pay: $30–$37/hr Schedule: Thu–Sat, 6am–6pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily production activities for the assigned shift
• Communicate production priorities and schedules to operators
• Monitor output, downtime, scrap, labor utilization, and production flow
• Enforce standardized work instructions, GMPs, and safety policies
• Address performance gaps immediately and escalate issues as needed
• Supervise operators; manage attendance, conduct, and training
• Ensure accurate shift handoff communication
• Support QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams
• Maintain clean, organized, inspection-ready production areas
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing leadership experience required
• Food manufacturing experience required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to enforce standards and maintain accountability
• Basic understanding of production KPIs
• Real-time troubleshooting ability
• Basic computer/documentation skills

Work Environment:

• Full-time, onsite production-floor role
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Exposure to heat, noise, and active manufacturing equipment
• PPE required at all times
